Performing Advanced Electrosurgical Waveform
Measurements with the ESU-2400H 

The ESU-2400H Electrosurgical Unit Analyzer is the most advanced electrosurgical unit analyzer on the market. It uses its Patent Pending DFA2 Technology™ to aggressively digitize the complex RF waveforms produced by electrosurgical generators. The ESU-2400H has a buffer depth of over 16 million samples, allowing it to produce extremely accurate measurements of electrosurgical generator output waveforms.

One of the most useful features of the ESU-2400H are the autosequences. Autosequences are steps that are preprogrammed into the analyzer that meet specific manufacturer’s requirements for testing. BC Group has created many autosequences, each available to download for free online. There are autosequences for the Covidien ForceTriad™, Force FX-C™ and FT10™, as well as the Conmed System 2450™ and System 5000™.

As seen from the comparison chart below, the BC Biomedical family of ESU analyzers offer more features and greater accuracy than comparable models. The ESU-2400, ESU-2400H and ESU-2050P offer extremely accurate measurements, with 1% measurement accuracy and 1% REM/CQM/ARM accuracy. Even more advanced are the ESU-2400 and ESU-2400H. Both analyzers have touch screen interfaces, with tests results that can be saved to PDF format locally, saved to the analyzer or printed. One of the most useful features is the ability to program autosequences and use the fully automated PM procedure for ForceTriad™ 101 steps.
