New Software Available for Ocean, Piranha and Cobia

A new software release is now available (2018.2A) for Ocean 2014, Black Piranha and Cobia. This release has been mainly dedicated to maintenance, but some new features have been added. Listed below are the main improvements.

PIRANHA and OCEAN

• The dose rate and mA are now based on the irradiation time (exposure time)

• Bluetooth connectivity in Windows 10 fixes

• Mammography manufacturer. Agfa is added to the selection guide for mammography
modalities in Quick Check

• Dose Area Product. Support for use of transmission ion chamber with Quick Check display and Application templates.

• HVL in Quick Check with external dose probe

• Other minor bug fixes and improvements have been done.

COBIA and OCEAN

• Internal mAs - mA lower limit. Internal mAs - mA lower limit. The lower limit for mA is extended from 1.0 to 0.9 mA. Resolution remains unchanged at 0.1 mA

• Warning sign for uncompensated dose and dose rate with ion chambers removed. The warning symbol for non-compensated dose readings was faulty shown for some Ion chamber types. This is now corrected.

• Other minor bug fixes and improvements have been done.
