Ventilation Testing with the PFC-3000

For quick, accurate ventilation measurements, BC Group offers the PFC-3000 high performance Benchtop Flow Analyzer Series. The PFC-3000 measures flow, pressure, temperature humidity and oxygen concentration and is compatible with 13 gas standards and 10 gas types. This optional equipment works in conjunction with any of PFC-3000 models and measures halothane, enflurane, isoflurane, sevoflurane and desflurane in percentage values.

The PFC-3000 is available in three models. Users can choose from the basic flow analyzer, one with an additional low pressure sensor or a model with an additional vacuum sensor. BC Group also has a complete family of lung simulators, to fulfill all your lung simulating needs. This includes the new SmartLung 2000-2L; the only test lung that covers settings according to standards IEC 60601-2-12, IEC 60601-2-13 and EN 794-3. Additionally, BC Group offers lung simulators for adult, infant and neonatal.

Users can also take ventilation measurements even easier with the FlowLab Software. FlowLab allows users to view flow, pressure and volume measurements on a computer monitor while simultaneously saving respiratory parameters. Test reports can be created and saved electronically or printed using USB or RS-232 connections.

The MGA-3050 Multi-Gas Analyzer connects to any PFC-3000 Series Flow Analyzer and is used to measure Anesthetic agent concentrations for testing purposes. The MGA-3050 measures halothane, enflurane, isoflurane, sevoflurane and desflurane in percentage values. The MGA-3050 also measures percentage values of CO2 and N2O. The MGA-3050 is an excellent instrument for performing vaporizer efficacy tests, but a PFC-3000 series unit is required, since it uses its display to display measurement values
